Andy Beno
Andy was a navigator on C-130 in the Air Force for twenty years and retired as a Major in 2003. His dream job was to be his own boss and build homes, so he decided to do just that. This dream became a reality in the form of Magnolia Custom Homes. Prior to having his son Andrew and son-in-laws Josiah and Jay join him, Andy ran the business and led all projects solely. He now handles all internal operations of the business. Andy is so proud of the business success of Magnolia Custom Homes, but is most proud of the relationships that have been formed as a by product of beautiful, custom homes. Outside of work, Andy spends his free time poolside with his family, hunting with his son, or enjoying his hunting camp with friends and his seven grandsons.
Andrew Beno
Andrew is proud to work alongside his dad as the client relations and project manager for Magnolia Custom Homes. After attending Auburn University, Andrew returned home to Destin to work with his dad full-time as an integral part of the company. Andrew works with clients to make their dreams come true by being detail-oriented and paying attention to detail and make their dream home become a reality. Andrew enjoys bouncing from project to project as the project manager on construction sites. Additionally, Andrew helps to maintain organization on all projects and client relations. Andrew is a man you can trust, and he works hard to prove himself to his clients each and every day. The best feeling for him is when he accurately paints a picture of the blueprint for a client’s dream home, and then gets to watch it become a reality as the vision comes to life as the walls come up. Andrew is known for making the clients feel comfortable by going above and beyond to ease the entire project before they even break ground to long after move in day. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys the getting to spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. He married Ashton in 2021 and they live in their newly constructed home in Santa Rosa Beach.
Josiah Aiken
Josiah and his wife Lindsey moved to the Emerald Coast from Charlotte, NC, in late 2020. They have a son, Tommy, who was born in March of 2021, and recently completed construction of their new home in Santa Rosa Beach. Josiah, along with his five brothers and sisters, grew up all over the US and internationally through his dad's military service, and he graduated from Colorado State University. He is a huge superhero and comic book fan (coincidentally, people often stop him in public to tell him he looks like Clark Kent), and enjoys swimming in the gulf, a good cigar, and cooking with Lindsey. Josiah previously worked to draft technical proposals for a general contractor in Colorado Springs, as well as for a heavy highway civil contractor in recruiting. He is looking forward to growing with MCH, becoming an active member of their Church, and settling into life in their new home.
Jay Teal
Jay, along with his wife Lacey and son James, recently moved from Birmingham, AL, to join the family business. He previously worked as a senior process engineer and production manager in the cement industry. Jay was born in England, and lived in multiple states with his military family before graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He is an avid sports fan, particularly college football, and enjoys playing sports, traveling, and grilling on his Big Green Egg. People describe Jay and James as two peas in a pod, and you can often find them on an adventure together, be it kayaking, jumping at the trampoline park, riding the golf cart to get ice cream, or playing basketball. Jay is an excellent asset to the team, working with an overall goal in mind to guide, assist, problem-solve, and offer solutions for clients throughout the building process. He is grateful to be working not just for a family business, but one that seeks to honor and glorify God with the gifts and talents they've been blessed with. He maintains that while we all have a common goal in completing successful projects for our clients, it's invigorating to know that we have a deeper and more meaningful goal to know Christ and make Him known.
